Billboard Technician (Contract for Services)
Job Description
• Oversee daily operations within the electrical and technical scope of billboard systems.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems to minimise downtime.
• Be on standby mode as required, to provide immediate support in case of emergencies or urgent billboard-related technical issues.
• Support commissioning, testing, and start-up activities for new billboard systems and equipment.
• Implement and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective action on electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of maintenance activities, incidents, and system performance.
Requirements
• Possess at least Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), Diploma, or equivalent qualifications (Wireman, Chargeman, or related certification).
• Minimum of one (1) year working experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably with exposure to project execution and operations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, work flexible hours, and respond to urgent tasks when required.
